Playing with Fire
2:00:00 PMI'm absolutely in love with my photography class. The projects that we get to do are super duper fun! This project was called "Paint with Light". I've seen this probably a million trillion times on other people's tumblrs and such, but now I know how to do it myself! All you need is a very slow shutter speed, minimal light, and a flashlight that you use like a paintbrush! I used about 10 seconds, with a 5.6 aperture, and you have to mess around with the ISO settings. It's very cool trying out different things. In class, we did angels, butterfly wings, mustaches, peace signs, and rain clouds. At home, I got to experiment a bit more with the surroundings. Here are the results! Not the best, but if I edit here and there I'm sure I'll like them even more.
