How I love tumblr. All the style, accesories, artwork, everything is just so lovely to look at and so inspirational. Whenever I spare a moment, I love to head over and spend a loooooooooooooooong time scrolling and scrolling through my dashboard. Here are some of the latest inspiring pictures I've seen. I love me some fashion illustration probably better than any genre, which is why I fell in love with this incredible calendar at PaperFashion.

I saw the most adorable picture on facebook and got an awesome idea.

I am going to keep a little sketchpad with all of my favorite outfits. It will be so awesome and incredible. Haha, hopefully I can share them all with you!

Go great with candy cane nails!:)

You Need:

• a box of funfetti cake mix or plain vanilla mix
• vanilla frosting
• white or milk chocolate
• red sugar topping
• candy canes

Instructions:

1. Mix up the cake as directed on the box. For an added touch, I mixed in some crushed candy canes!
2. Bake as directed.
3. While cooling, break up the cake and crumble it up as finely as you can. I just crumbled it with my hands:).
4. After the cake is cool, mix in about a 1/4 cup of vanilla frosting. I just eyeballed it. Just make sure that the cake is as moist as you like it.
5. Incorporate the frosting into the cake crumbles by mushing it together with your hands. Then roll up the cake pop dough into balls.
6. I broke up a candy cane in 2 and pushed the stick into the dough ball.
7. I put the cake balls onto a paper plate and cooled in the freezer.
8. After at least 30 minutes, you can start melting the chocolate.
9. Then dip the pop into the chocolate. You can cover the whole thing in chocolate, or just half like I did.
10. Before it dries, I put red holidy sugar on top which also preventing them from sticking back onto the plate. You can get creative with the toppings-from sprinkles,chocolate chips, or even marshmallows.
11. Let sit and they are ready to eat!They are an adorable little desert sure to make a hit at a holiday party. All of my friends truly loved them and I did too.

Color has always been my thing. I am not afraid to wear a fully bright and bold color, in fact I quite love it. These people have done color justice. I applaud each of them for going bright and bold.

Sorry for the blog rejection lately!But not to worry, I am free of my busy schedule for a good amount of time now so prepare for DIYs, pictures, and more. Since I haven't shared some tunes in a while, I decided to share the intricate artist, Mika. He is a very cool guy! This song has been repeated in my car very very often so its definetly a favorite. His singing style is very unique kind of happy, quirky, pop. Super catchy! So below are two of my favorites (the second one is in French!But the video is so awesome and the beats are so insanely addicting that the language barrier doesn't matter:))

Remember those pesky little sticker-like tattoos you would stick on when you were little?Just rub with a little water and go?Well the concept is the same, but the actual designs are much cooler! This website offers the look of tattoos without the commitment. The peacock's my fave!

The associations with this very word aren't very good, but I have no idea why. In a poll at my school, people would rather be "hypesters" than "hipsters". I think the idea of being a unique individual, no matter what others say, is something very important and dear to me. Following the trends too much is not admirable in my opinion. Individuality, and creating your own style, are things that are much more admirable. I always root for the outcast, the loner, the one who isn't accepted because of some unusual trait or fact because those are the people who truly value being their own person. I don't know what the obsession with the word "hipster" is. I hear it used on a daily basis, describing someone who doesn't follow what everyone else is doing, or what they should be doing. The negative connotation is one I don't really appreciate. Its just another stereotype built to break people apart even more, and categorize every single human being into a single word.
So here's for all those people who dare to be different, even when other people try to prevent their individuality from breaking free.

One of my favorite mediums is watercolor. Although I personally can't use it too well, I love to see what others come up with. Here are some awesomely simple but still beautiful pictures that are watercolorfully divine.

Minimalism has always intrigued me. Although I could never dress myself with such strict simplicity, I really appreciate the clean structure of a minimalist style. It fascinates me to see those who could survive with so little variety in colors, and it makes for a very unique, striking wardrobe. Because the clothes are so simple, its the nuances that one has to look for, such a simple seam, that makes the outfit a perfect whole.










 



The only thing that bothers me is something like this. Which is supposed to be a nativity. I'm sorry,but I don't think I'll ever understand.
